Why electrical teams own part of it
Supply, standby paths, and cable routes must keep detection alive when the main feed is unhealthy. Moving boards without moving alarm circuits creates silent gaps.
Ask during upgrades
Is the existing system on a test cycle? Will new work disturb detectors or escape routes? Who receives test records at handover?
Do not treat alarm and emergency lighting as the first cut when the budget tightens.
